Senior and Eighth Grade Portraits Information including Scheduling (SY 2024-2025)

July 20, 2024

Dear Morgan Park High School Senior & Eighth Grade Students and Parents:

The time has arrived for your soon-to-be graduate to have his/her yearbook portrait session! Senior and eighth grade portraits are an icon of this significant time in your student's life, and will be a timeless treasure for years to come.

A cap and gown will be provided for students to wear for the photo, as the yearbook will publish this photo for the student outfit pose. Other attire may be worn for the optional student poses; however, the 2025 yearbook photo will be the cap-and-gown pose.

Two poses will be offered; however, due to time limitations, no outfit changes will be allowed (must be worn upon arrival). Perhaps plan to have an accessory that could easily added or removed (i.e., a jacket).

Photos will be taken in the school's auditorium, when escorted by their English teacher during class, on either Wednesday, Oct. 9 or Thursday, Oct. 10, according to the graduation portrait appointment schedule LINKED HERE.

Being photographed in the yearbook pose is free. However, three additional poses requires a $10 sitting fee (cash only, please) due at the time of the sitting.

Additionally, this is likely the only time that yearbook portraits will be taken; no make-up date is currently planned.

Davis Digital Services, the school's official photographer. Photo proofs will be emailed. We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity. You will enjoy the once-in-a- lifetime tradition and beauty of your senior/eighth grade portraits for years to come. If you have any questions about the upcoming photography sessions, please contact the yearbook advisory, Mr. Keith Majeske ([email protected]), or Mrs. Carol Davis (Davis Digital Services; 708-628-3732; email: [email protected]).
