Mustangs WIN THRILLER!!!...Beat Lincoln Park 8-7

MORGAN PARK WINS THRILLER OVER LINCOLN PARK

Morgan Park beat visiting Lincoln Park 8-7, in the Ryne Sandberg conference game. The Mustangs were down 7-6 going into the bottom of the 7th inning. Then, tied the game 7-7 at the end of regulation. Relief pitcher Chris Rogers kept Lincoln Park scoreless in the top of the 8th inning. The Mustangs had base runners on first and third with two outs. Lincoln Park's catcher allowed a passed ball back to the screen and Khyle Singleton ran home for the game winner. "This was a must win game for our team!"-head coach Nelson.

Starting pitcher Paul Delagarza earned the victory and Chris Rogers got the save. Also, Chris Rogers went 4-4 with an rbi and "hot hitting" Khyle Singleton was 3-4 with 3 singles, 2 runs, and an rbi. Rotimi Omosheyin was 2-3 with a triple and 2 runs scored.

Morgan Park is 13-11 overall and 5-3 in conference.
